Katelyn Martinez
Executive Director
Katelyn has served as Executive Director for the Ivory Bridges Foundation since its inception. She is the Deputy Director for the Center for Diversity & Inclusion at John Hopkins. Prior to Hopkins, she was a project manager for the Office of Strategy and Policy at The University of Texas at Austin, she has worked for her alma mater since 2011 primarily within student success. A child of Austin natives, she was the first in her family to graduate from university and is an alumna of the Longhorn Link Program, a federally funded TRIO student support services program. She has her M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership.
Analia Mendez
Career Coach
Ms. Mendez is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach who brings over 20 years of career and professional development for teams around strengths, increasing employee engagement, developing Strengths-based leadership, and initiating and designing sustainable employee engagement focused Strengths-based programs for organizations like UC San Diego. Ms. Mendez speaks extensively on CliftonStrengths and has been a featured speaker for U.S. News and World Report, Univision, and National Association of Colleges and Employers. A few career clients that Ms. Mendez has served include University of California San Diego, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Teradata, and Amazon. Check out her feature on Success Magazine!
Amy Lay
Wellness Coach
Amy has always been a natural uplifter. In her coaching practice, she seeks to elevate individual or team confidence through various avenues, all of which result in a more gratifying experience for her clients. The experience presents itself in a more rewarding personal, professional, and spiritual life. And her favorite aspect of this work is the blissful integration of all of these facets of life into one, confident person.
Ley Ebrada
Financial Coach
Ley Ebrada is working with Ivory Bridges as their Financial Coach. Ley has been helping her father file income tax ever since she was a kid. Today, she is responsible for Ebrada Financial Group’s day-to-day operations, and works closely with the board of directors to develop and implement the company’s vision and strategies. She is also in-charge of all finance, tax consulting, client accounting services and administrative activities. With over 17 years of experience, Ley has served families and small businesses in the greater San Diego region with their tax preparation, accounting, and financial service needs.
Elysia Mac
Program Manager
Elysia is a UX Designer and Project Manager at UC San Diego Design Lab. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Cognitive Science w/ Design & Interaction, with a minor in Business. In her free time, Elysia enjoys rock climbing, hiking, playing volleyball, and karaoke!!
Andrea Mac
Program Coordinator
Andrea is a dedicated advocate for ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunity for all communities. She has collaborated with multiple nonprofits to uplift underrepresented and marginalized voices. A recent graduate from Pomona College with a BA in Public Policy Analysis/Economics, Andrea now works as a Programs Coordinator at the Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE). This nonprofit, nonpartisan organization advances the political and civic empowerment of the Asian Pacific American community through voter outreach, training, education, and leadership development. In her free time, Andrea enjoys basketball, yoga, running, exploring new food spots with friends, and crocheting.
